God does not need Expertise or Strength for divine placement, He chooses by Grace.
For it is written in 2Corinthians 12:9 that " ..my strength is made perfect in weakness".
Let's take a look at Eliab, Jesse's first son who was preferred by everyone because he had all the qualities of becoming a good King but he was not chosen by God rather his younger brother, David, who is not worthy of the post was God's favorite, that's what is called GRACE.
