A Pure Heart is what YHVH desires for those who call on His Great and Holy Name to have. No matter where we are, where we've been, or where we are going; a pure heart, a humble and contrite spirit is imperative for His children. Until/ unless we have these qualities we will never be able to see our heavenly Father for who He is. We will not see how great and mighty He is, how Awesome , Holy, and Righteous is the Creator we should love and serve by walking in the ways He commanded us.
Psalm 18:25-26
With the kind You show Yourself kind; With the perfect one You show Yourself perfect; With the clean You show Yourself clean; And with the crooked You show Yourself twisted.
Psalm 34:17-19
The righteous cried out, and יהוה heard, And delivered them out of all their distresses. יהוה is near to the broken-hearted, And saves those whose spirit is crushed. Many are the evils of the righteous , But יהוה delivers him out of them all.
Micah 6:8
He has declared to you, O man, what is good. And what does יהוה require of you but to do right, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your Elohim?
James 4: 6-10
But He gives greater favour. Because of this He says, “Elohim resists the proud, but gives favour to the humble.” So then subject yourselves to Elohim. Resist the devil and he shall flee from you. Draw near to Elohim and He shall draw near to you. Cleanse hands, sinners. And cleanse the hearts, you double-minded! Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to dejection. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Master, and He shall lift you up.
