Today I want to show you the photos I took last Sunday morning on the mountain near the village of Diex. The Sunrise was quite colorful, but lasted only a few minutes, because there have been a lot of dark clouds in the sky and the fog decided to climb higher up from the valley right when the sun appeared from behind the wooded hill.
When I arrived on my location there was not much to see that morning, but then the clouds opened a small gap at the horizon and while the horizon turned golden, the high clouds began dissolving slowly.
As said above, the beginning of Winter is today on December 21, but when I look outside I see only gray in gray. So, I am somehow happy to be in Home Office this week and have some time in between to edit more colorful photos :)
The high fog reached almost the peaks of the Karawanks Mountain range in the south.
And then the sun arrived from behind the wooded hill and smiled at me, but not for long, because the fog has also been climbing upwards and soon it covered my view.
Although the sky slowly cleared up while I was packing my gear back into the car, I moved on to my next location and said good bye to a beautiful wintry landscape.
About one week later, almost all the snow was gone. Yesterday I have taken a few photos only, which I even haven't viewed on the big monitor yet.
Well that was all for today - I hope you enjoyed my photos a little.
