I had to consider whether to show the female or the male Redstart first.

Ich habe überlegen müssen, ob ich zuerst das Weibchen oder den männlichen Gartenrotschwanz zeigen soll.

My choice fell on the female redstart. Although the male bird is more beautiful, I like the female somehow better, because she looks much more graceful and elegant.

Meine Wahl ist auf das Gartenrotschwanz Weibchen gefallen. Obwohl das Männchen schöner ist, gefällt mir das Weibchen irgendwie besser, weil sie viel graziler und vornehmer wirkt.

Of course, this is the same crooked and wobbly wooden fence on the neighbor's garden, where the squirrel and the robin have already posed for me.

Natürlich ist das wieder derselbe schiefe und wackelige Holzzaun an Nachbars Garten, auf dem schon das Eichhörnchen und das Rotkehlchen für mich posiert haben.

All photos were shot without a tripod with the Canon EOS R Camera and the telephoto lens SIGMA 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM C at a distance between about 15 and 30 meters (45-90 feet).
