In Psalm 2: 2-4, we find:
The kings of the earth will rise, and the princes will consult together against Jehovah and his anointed, saying:
Let's break their ties and throw their ropes.
He who dwells in heaven will laugh; The Lord will mock them.
When all the enemies of God unite against Him, He sits on his heavenly throne to laugh at them. He is the alpha and the Omega, Prinipio and Fin (Revelation 1: 8), so he already knows what the turn of things will be, because He is the beginning and the end. It must also be everything in between.
If we are led by the Holy Spirit, we can also laugh during that time. We will laugh at the laughter of faith as Abraham did. God told him that he would do the impossible for him; that although he was too old to have children, he would give him one anyway. Abraham laughed! (Genesis 17:17).
The miracle did not happen immediately. Years passed before Abraham saw God's promise fulfilled. However, I think it was not the last time he laughed. I am sure he thought many times what God said, and laughed while he waited for the day he saw in his heart.
We spend a lot of time on thoughts, looking at the present instead of the ultimate goal.
Think of all the other things that God has done for you.
You had to wait for them. He is faithful! And he will fulfill what he has promised. You are likely to wait a while, but if you decide to enjoy life's journey, it won't seem like much time.
You may have heard that "the water in the pot under surveillance never boils." When we stand in front of a pot to see how the water boils, the time it takes to reach its boiling point seems eternal. But if we start doing other things and stop thinking about the boat, it seems only a few seconds have passed.
Observing the problem is like observing the pot with water. If you want to put your grain of sand, stop thinking about the problems. They will resolve much faster, and you can say: "I enjoyed the journey of life or enjoyed today."
