In communion, unity prevails. The power of unity is based on the love of God through the Holy Spirit that is over the church.
The church as the body of Christ brings together all those born in water and spirit. The new birth brings the light of God over the church. Communion in the church is the product of the divine light of Christ in his own body, which is the church.
When people gather to worship and praise God, the light of the radiance of Christ flows, manifesting their love over the church, which is strengthened in unity.
There can be no communion between the people of God and those who still remain in darkness. Light and darkness cannot be together.
The word says:
5 This is the message we have heard from Him, and we announce to them: God is light, and there is no darkness in Him. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; 7 But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1: 5-7).
Keep in mind what the word says, if you say you are in the light, but keep practicing sin, your works betray that you are still in the dark, and there is no truth in your heart.
All who walk in the light practice the works of the Holy Spirit, which are: love, joy, peace, faith, meekness, temperance, goodness, patience and goodness.
If you are in the light, the works of the flesh in your life cannot prevail. He who walks in the light abhors evil and moves away from dissension and struggles. He moves away completely from murmurs, gossip and other desires of the flesh that condemn the person.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1: 7).
There are many benefits when God's people meet. The healing of Christ, who is powerful, cleanses us from all sin. The blood of Christ is a cleansing agent, which provides forgiveness and redemption.
