Greetings brothers.
Because many of us do not understand the fundamentals of good communication, it is not surprising that we feel "tied hand and foot" when trying to introduce and keep them in our homes. It is likely that most define communication as "the exchange of information through the use of words." In other words, if two people talk, they will communicate.
There is no doubt that good communication requires the use of words, but there is much more than that.
Nonverbal factors such as tone of voice, facial expression and body language can affect communication much more than the choice of words.
Since communication is much more than the verbal exchange of information, establishing an effective dialogue can be a complex task that involves a great challenge. That is why, so important that it is reviewed first, which hinders good communication.
Let's start with the beginning of creation, let's go back to the garden of Eden. Things have never been as before since Adam and Eve fell headlong into sin.
To cause the "fall," the snake used a negative communication called deception (Genesis 3: 4-5). He used a rhetorical question: Is it true that God told them not to eat ...? To fool Eva. In addition, he twisted God's words to make it appear that he had forbidden them to eat from all the trees. Finally, he lied about the consequences and divine motives. When Eva was deceived and ate the forbidden fruit, she encouraged Adam to eat too. Half truths, manipulation and brazen lies have been communication tools between people since then!
To improve communication, the couple needs to consider the obstacles that prevent it. There are a lot of activities or commitments that consume the time and energy of the couple and prevents them from a complete and deep communication.
Even the most positive and valuable things can make our time and energy run out.
Let us be very careful in making communication a tool very similar to that used in the garden of Eden by the snake to manipulate, deceive or tell half truths. Remove all obstacles that prevent you from having good communication.
