Things do not always work out the way we want, dream or plan. Similarly, they do not leave in the time we expect.
Many years have passed since a young dreamer had had a great dream of being a ruler, to the point of seeing his own family prostrate in front of him. Certainly, I mean Joseph, of whom the Word says in Genesis 45: 5-8
5 Now, then, don't be sad, even if you sold me here; because to preserve life, God sent me before you. 6 For there have been two years of famine in the midst of the earth, and there are still five years in which there will be no plowing or mowing. 7 And God sent me before you, to preserve you posterity on earth, to give you life through a great liberation. 8 So you did not send me here, but to God, who made me the father of Pharaoh and lord of all his house, and governor in all the land of Egypt.
What Joseph became posterity was not overnight. Everything went through a long and complex process. From his youth, Joseph began to experience God's plan for his life. God revealed dreams to him from an early age, however, none of this happened immediately. Joseph's life was not easy, even with all the dreams revealed by God, Joseph went through very bitter situations, so much so that his own blood brothers threw him into a tank without equal, then took him out and sold him to an Egyptian caravan . and after this he is thrown into a prison being innocent. With all this, Joseph maintained his trust in God and persevered in fulfilling the dreams that God had revealed to him about the future greatness he would have.
In jail, the process of God in Joseph's life gained more strength and although Joseph remained in prison for 2 years being innocent, the time came when God redirected the life of Joseph and placed it in the place that God He had revealed in his youth.
Joseph became the governor of the entire land of Egypt, the second most important man in the country, after Pharaoh. He freed many nations from hunger, including his father's family, Jacob.
Like the life of Joseph, we must trust and expect God's purpose with each of us, no matter how much time passes before God does what he did with Joseph.
God has an important place for each of his children, we fully trust in Him and we will not be ashamed.
