01. Name Recognition.

_{Be patient when starting out. Promote your brand, gradually. Don't be afraid to get messy. I uploaded thousands of videos to my Ojawall channel on YouTube, which began in 2009 and it died in October of 2017. My Joeyarnoldvn channel, likewise, was murdered in Oct of 2018, which was the next year, exactly twelve months later. So, there were so many lessons there. Who knows how many channels, profiles, pages, groups, accounts, videos, pictures, articles, posts, links, memes, and other things, were deactivated, removed, erased, shadow banned, disabled, forbidden, deleted, shredded, ended, murdered, taken, stolen, eradicated, over the years, by Google, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Yahoo, Microsoft, Apple, and others. But through it, I learned so many things.}

02. Picking Battles

_{You can only do so much. Focus 80% of your time on things that works, that have been working for centuries. Every once in a while, try new things. You may transition to newer things, better things. It depends on your alternatives, choices, options. But try to spend most of your time on things that makes you money, that builds your career, ministry, and especially your family, friends, your network. I learned this partly from the ghetto social networks like Facebook which destroyed so much of my Original Oatmeal over the years.}

03. Diversify Your Oatmeal

_{Be on many social networks, websites, forums, blockchains, online. Likewise, apply that type of branching out and that type of reach to the offline world as well. Diversify your Oatmeal, your portfolio, your resume. As you build your brand, spread it around.}

04. Save Money

_{While teaching English in Vietnam from 2012-2017, for five years, I learned to save money. Do it or die. Do it and do it well. Plan ahead and focus on what you need and not on what you want alone. Procrastinate on your wants and pace yourself.}

05. Have Fun

_{Make some time to have some fun when you can.}

06. Rise Early

_{The earlier you awake, the better. You can do more that way.}

07. Be Wise

_{Not everybody's going to get you and understand you. Be patient, pick battles, and give up. Be wise and don't spend too much time trying to teach an old dead dog new tricks. Get off the dead horses. Some people may not be ready. Some people may never get it. Do your best, be wise, do what you can, be patient, do what you want, and everything else, yes, sure, but ultimately, eventually, you may need to move on as well.}

08. Write More

_{Keep better logs. Keep better journals. There are so many reasons why we should all do this more.}

09. Invest In Yourself More

_{Stretch more. Sleep better. Eat better. Make time for exercise. All of these things make your life so much better.}

10. Study More

_{Take the time to do your homework. When you know more, you connect dots more. That is part of the reason why we are to write more as well. All of this is how we invest in ourselves better. These are lessons I've learned and have been learning since my birth in Oregon in 1985 and specifically the past ten years as well. These are random things I have been learning the past decade and there is more where that came from.
