This is a different type of thing than what I normally post, but I have recently discovered something which I would like to share.
I have no idea if this is already known by most people, I was actually forced to do it because my kettle was broken. I needed a cup of tea, so I microwaved a mug of water. After doing it a few times I actually realised it has some huge benefits.
- No water wasted, you heat the exact amount you need.
- Less water used so faster than boiling the kettle.
- Less energy used because less water boiled.
- Once you've done it enough times you know the exact amount of seconds it takes to get the perfect drinking temperature!
- You get a nice "ding" when it's ready!
My posts are usually about futurology and how we're all screwed. If we want a chance of survival, I think it's small changes like this which could really help us!
