I am by name Okon Edet from the southernmost part of our richly blessed country Nigeria. I am a University of Uyo student still undergoing training for the award of B.Eng. Also one who is an advocate for blacks because I am proud of my skin colour as I feel that our melanin is unique and beautiful.
I walked into the school cafeteria on Monday and behold, I saw a couple of my faculty friends and some students sitting organised and listening attentively to whoever spoke at a that particular time. I stood astonished for a moment but snapped out of it immediately. I grabbed a chair and sat few metres away from the gathering for a clearer view and possible investigation of what was ongoing. To my greatest surprise, the number grew bit by bit till it dawned on me to join them.
On getting there, I was warmly welcomed but I still wore a facial expression that clearly stated confusion. A brief rundown of the agenda was said for my sake. As the clock ticked away, I began to sink deeper and deeper into the conversation. Most of them gave testimonies of how they've been reformed, all thanks to STEEMIT. They showed off items they purchased courtesy of STEEMIT.
BUT was the next big word I heard. There was a BUT to STEEMIT as HARD WORK AND DEDICATION catalysis the whole process. Meaning garbage in equal garbage out so one must put in his best to get the best.
I learnt some tricks and tips on how to get ones head above troubled waters and remaining on top.
There are many ways to fish but that does not change the fact that there are laid down rules, code of conduct and general precautions to be strictly adhered to.
First tip is to be as original as you ought to. Copy and pasting is greatly frowned at and attracts penalty on this platform. No matter how short, please be original, I muttered those word to myself.
Secondly, HD meaningful pictures are to be part and parcel of ones post as pictures have thousands of meanings attached to it depending on the side with which the viewer see it from.
Third was about content not volumes. It was brought to my notice that most people spend more time writing long irrelevant things than hitting the nail on the head.
Lastly, the right tags puts ones post on the right track.
