Happy Wednesday, Hive!
This is Joems from @joemsinmosaic, and I'm back with another entry for #APicADay.
This photo was taken just after sunset. Most people were already making their way back to the shore, but I wasn't ready to leave yet. The sky still had that beautiful mix of blue and orange, and the waves were calm enough to make me want to stay a little longer.
So I did.
My husband, who was standing on the shore, called out and asked me to strike a pose.
A few seconds later, he showed me this photo.
I didn't realize how beautiful the sky looked from where he was standing.
The moon was already out, hanging quietly above me. The boats in the distance looked like tiny shadows, and because of the backlight, I became nothing more than a silhouette.
Looking at this photo reminds me that some of the best memories aren't planned. They happen when we slow down, stay a little longer, and simply enjoy where we are.
Thanks for stopping by my little corner of Hive. Until the next piece of the mosaic. 馃寠馃寵
