I want to share with all of you some shots I took of an awesome sunset in La Guaria, I was traveling with my family since we decided to expend some time together after several months of working non-stop. It is for moments like this that I think that it's worthy to work and study with all the energy I have to enhance the living standard of my beloved family and my friends.
The road in La Guaira state runs very close to the sea, If you check the following satellite image you can get an idea of how close the road is to the sea. There are several kilometers of road where you can enjoy driving with a lot of the salty like smell of the sea reaching you through the wind, it's a wonderful experience to relax and enjoy yourself.
When I was a child my dad usually picked me up me at midday at school, the randomly choose a place for to expend the afternoon hours with me, talking about what now seems to be trivial things but back in the day were really interesting stuff for me... Like why people build the house with certain shape and have not built with another, why the sea water color shifted from Green to darker blue as I looked farther in the horizon, etc. He was really kind to chat with me as if what I was telling him were the most interesting stuff he has ever heard, I'm really grateful towards him for that.
Right now I have little to no time to spare, but because I'm working at the port of La Guaira, I'm lucky enough to usually witness gorgeous scenes such as this at the beach shore.
This particular day I could not help it but to stop and take several shots of the view, I was standing there for around 20 minutes, just contemplating the beauty of nature and realizing how lucky we are of being born in this world.
I feel blessed to being able to enjoy this wonderful moments... despite the difficulties in my country we still have the chance to keep moving forward. And as long as we have air into our lunges and our hearts keep beating we will try our best to be successful and to be happy.
Thanks for visiting my post, best regards.
