Many stories during my stay in the City of Perth, Western Australia. As long as I live on the western tip of this kangaroo continent, I've been happy. These experiences come from various situations whether from nature, city life, local people and culture, food, traffic, markets etc. In this article, I will tell you some things that are unique and in my opinion a unique and interesting experience when I lived in this land of kangaroos.
The first unique experience that I immediately felt when I first set foot in the city of Perth was the weather. At that time, I arrived at the end of November 2019 when summer was in full swing. The scorching hot temperature that exceeds 45 degrees Celsius during the day is quite burning that I feel. Of course, as a person who lives in a tropical country, for me this temperature is enough to make the body hot.
From this incident, I learned that seeing the weather forecast on a smartphone every day while living in Perth is an important activity so that we avoid the wrong costumes while maintaining our own health and of course always carrying bottled mineral water wherever we go.
The second unique experience relates to life in Perth. In 2021 Perth will be among the 10 most livable cities in the world. And, this coronation is not a figment. The local government has tried to provide the best possible facilities for anyone who stays or stops in this city. During my stay in Perth, the thing that always made me feel comfortable was public transportation.
Here, public transportation is very well integrated so that moving from one place to another becomes very easy. I took the Transperth bus very easily because there are many bus stops on the side of the road (and one of them is not far from where I live in Langford). In addition, there is also a special application that provides complete information regarding the departure schedule and the presence of vehicles on the road. So, I can easily manage the itinerary and estimate the time of arrival at the destination.
