In the past few days I have tried to plant houseplants such as shallots and chilies in a simple way in my yard and this activity is my daily side activity during my holidays when I am not at school, and on this occasion I tried to plant shallots and chili based on my experience, I often watch about simple ways to grow useful plants at home, so based on the results of my viewing on YouTube and also interesting articles about these home plants, I try to practice them in my daily life.
So here, as a beginner, of course there are still many shortcomings and by planting these plants can help my family to meet kitchen needs and can save money by not buying shallots and chilies, and my business is still in the trial category, hopefully it will be successful and if successful later will develop on a larger scale.
In my business as a beginner in growing shallots and chilies I need several materials such as shallot and chili seeds, used drink cups, and several pots to plant these plants, apart from pots we can also use polybags, and we also have to prepare soil as a medium When planting, of course, the soil must be mixed with some organic fertilizers so that the plants can grow healthy and fertile.
as we know that shallots and chilies are fruits that we very often use as spices in cooking side dishes and various other types of food, so these two types of fruit are what we really need and spend a lot of money to buy these ingredients. . so based on this experience I try to save on these expenses by simply planting shallots and chilies at home. and I hope that my efforts will be successful.

The shallots are first sown in the glass drink packaging that has been used then with one cup of the glass drink filled with one red onion, and in about one week the shallots will sprout. and this makes it very easy to cultivate onion plants in pots in the yard of the house.
after the shallot plants have sprouted prolifically, then we will move the shallot plants to a wider and larger planting area, in this case we often use flower pots or polybags, which we first fill in the planting media that we have prepared, namely a mixture of soil with natural fertilizer or often referred to as manure. and after we move it we have to water it with enough water so that the onion plants can thrive.
Likewise with chili plants, we can also plant them in pots and polybags. This makes it very easy to care for and also use the narrow land, and we can place these plants in the yard and also on the terrace of the house so that the house is cooler and neatly arranged. So We can cultivate chili plants which we use very often everyday as a cooking spice, so we no longer need to buy cooking spices and can save expenses.
