For those who did not read this blog from the beginning on and to avoid any kind of confusion, I would like to mention that this is an edited version of the original version. So now I am coming to the main point related to the introduction itself.
My Name is Joel, 41 year old living currently in France. Currently because I might change the country of residence in a few weeks, more about this in a later blog when things are settled.
The reason I subscribed to this platform was following the reading of a book written by Aaron Koenig who explained in very simple, understandable and convincing terms what the blockchain systems are. I am also following him on Twitter where he mentioned steemit.com as a fair, data privacy respecting, secured and interesting system which grants everyone of us to earn money by publishing meaningful blogs, comments and voting for blogs we appreciate. So the principle is very nice and I am someone who likes the fact that even people who do not have a lot of financial means can take part to this project, as far as I could see it also changed some lives and this fact makes me happy.
Back to my presentation, I am actually looking for a job since I left my previous company a few months ago, I hope to have some good news to give soon, reason I might change the country of residence.
I am interested in hundreds of topics and love to read, walk, ride with my bicycle, travel, attending concerts, listening to music, attending shows. My readings include different subjects such as personal development, economics, technology, blockchain instruction, psychology, philosophy, management. I also love sport such as Basketball especially NBA as well as the U.S. major sports. I am not a fan of soccer, though the results of some clubs are regularly looked at by me.
As a human being I think I am cool, have a good sense of humour, sometimes I am difficult to follow for somethings as I love to make some mind-games using some references (ie.: Somebody says something and I answer with an excerpt of a song or a sentences brought by an artist), this requires a high knowledge of culture (mainly popular or a little more demanding). Only other people can tell how they perceive me. Sometimes I say something about me and others have a more positive impression of me. I appreciate cerebral conversation with people. I often tend to overthink on things, this was the case until a few weeks now. My guess is that my mind is now clear.
I am eager of every endeavour and new acquaintances I will make during my journey on steemit.
