It never occurred to me that a garden wall might benefit from having a face, yet that is what my wife and I discovered while walking around in Pasadena this week. Mind you, this is not a high wall. It is a very low front lawn wall that an incredibly creative person has decorated with all sorts of fanciful things. One section of this wall caught my attention because it was built out of a porcelain mug with a face on it.
For those who want to travel to visit this remarkable front lawn, it is quite a spectacle and hidden oddity of the art world. The address is 1422 N. Sierra Bonita Ave, Pasadena CA, 91104. If you are in the area and looking for something truly unique, a visit to this front lawn will not disappoint.
