One of the most famous things with faces I have seen in the creative world is trees with faces. There is a long tradition of artists drawing trees with kind as well as mean faces. Here is a recent surreal drawing of mine featuring a tree with the face of a happy woman. Why would I draw such a thing? Because faces on anything creates instant surrealism, human-ish connection, and some type of emotional correlation (depending on the facial expression).
