Lance had tracked the lion pride for hours....... before they stopped to rest by a waterhole.....
but their attention was not on drinking.......
The lions in South Africas Tswalu Kalahari Game reserve.......
had discovered a Temminck’s ground pangolin.....
A small, innocent, nocturnal, ant-eating mammal..........
thankfully.....this small mammal is armour-plated!!!
with scales made of fused hair..... and curls up into an impregnable fortress ball when threatened...
Thank god for that fused hair.....
so......you could say......his hair ....saved this pangolins life :-)
