A sage comes as a disgrace
The stupid draws his sagacious pace
His evil wins the lots
The face of wisdom becomes trodden on in his miniondom
The multitude praise the meat they chew for now you know
And welcome into their folds snakes in dovish brow
The sage smiles in his shameful worth in the reeking mud
Meats finish: a sage keeps his cattle with a word.
Searching for someone truer to love
Is like looking for an angel in a devil's town today
You are my heart to love which I've long loved
Just like a star picked as mine outta countless stars of a night
