Unfortunately cross-posting hurt the site in the long run. And yes, if the content is posted on multiple sites it is not original even though you are the author. It's not exclusive and make hive not rise in site ranking, Google search results.

It is not a pun against you, it's mere stating the fact.

The same situation is with actifit posts posted on both hive and steem.

It all makes Hive a place less likely to visit.
