You were the one, once, that teased out
a smile where before fright lingered like a flood of shit
crested after a hurricane sloshed pig farm filth out of pens.

My smile was for your kindness,
your joyful spinning laughter at my taste,
my sweetness, and how the first time
your tongue found my pleasure

You spoke my name without words.
