Im here in West Java in an area that is very popular with people celebrating the end of ramadan - Eid I believe - as you mention in your article. OMG the streets and beach are flooded with millions of tourists, I believe travel has been banned during covid times and people are finally allowed to visit family and loved ones and travel again. Great to see people happy. Shame about all the litter they leave behind though...:(
