Take the time to do what you love to do this weekend. - Catherine Pulsifer
Good day, Hivers! Especially to all people in this community. Hope that you're doing well this weekend.
Weekends are sacred to all workers like me. It is time for unwinding and making time for family. But for us, it's a time to do weekend household chores, nanny for my kids, and other usual routines if no other errands are scheduled.
Every morning, when the sun shines I usually hang clothes over our string to dry. This was previously washed by the nanny of my kids when I'm in school. If my daughter was asleep, she managed her time to wash the laundry. That is every Friday.
After that, I washed our shoes and slippers however my kids would insist to help me in washing them. They're fun of washing because it has bubbles to enjoy with.
After the fun of washing, they headed to the bathroom to take a bath and change. In this scenario, pursued my daughter to change but she keeps on running so I tried not to give attention to her then when I see her next, she was being changed by her brother. How sweet😍
Every time I wash the dishes, she always pulls a chair to help. There were times that I'm annoyed with her but I think it was her training. I never force her to do it but she's the one who insisted. Sometimes, I gathered all our chairs so that she cannot get one. Haha
In the afternoon, we usually feed our piggies for their lunch. Again, these two would insist, so, I let them feed the piggies. I just get feeds from the sack then they were the ones scooping it.
There were times that we wanted to go to my mom's house so it was kind of walking distance. But when we got there, they were not around so, just take a photo of their cat, hehe.
Making a hairstyle for my daughter is also my hobby however my daughter doesn't want it. She always pulls her tie because maybe she doesn't like her hair tied.
There was a time, I re-arranged my daughter's clothes, and then she found them. She grabbed it right away to fit. This was her suit during her first birthday celebration. She's now two years old and 6 months and still it fits her.
Most of the time they spent at home playing with each other. I would let them go outside but with my presence, especially when they headed to Lola's house. It is a few steps away from the main road. So, I'd rather let them stay at home than play outside with unpredicted happenings.
That's all for our weekend activities. Hope that you enjoyed reading it. Thank you and God bless us all.
