I like this place and could willingly waste my time in it
-William Shakespeare

Hello, beautiful people of Hive! How do you spend your weekends? Yaay! That's great! Mine was awesome too.

We had several activities done during weekends and it's amazing when we share them here. One of those is our not-so-tiring hike into the evergreen view.

It was a lovely afternoon when we decided to have a quick hike in our neighborhood's breathtaking place (this is the way to "bungtod", where some people used to live). I brought my kids for some time to stretch their knuckles. We went ahead of my husband and as soon as I turn to him, he brought his motorbike (hahaha such a silly one😂)

Spending quality time with family strengthens our relationship with each other. As parents, we make sure to bond with them during weekends. If not too far, we go near as long as we made fun.

Our house is located 500 meters away from the place so, it's a perfect hike and released an amount of sweat. My kids were eager to walk and finally found a new environment since they are always in a four-corner environment or else just in front of our yard.

During rainy days, residents from the upper couldn't possibly bring their vehicles due to muddy situations. They only have to walk barefoot. Thank God that He has given us good weather, that it dried the land here.

This abandoned site right here was excavated by unknown people (but I think they were permitted by the government) approximately 11 years ago. They were equipped with excavating materials and dump tracks. After a few months of digging, they eventually stopped. Some say, that they're up for something, which was treasure✨.

Our elders told us that this place is where the Spaniards stayed during the colony. Probably, the things they used were discovered by those excavators. Up to now, no one can tell if they really got treasures.

This time, I have to carry my daughter because she's a bit tired already😅 and we're almost there! Hooah! Finally!

Look at that fascinating view! Isn't it amazing? It feels great and fulfilling being at the top of the hill. That overlooking view of the sunset made us more in love with nature.

Wooah! I felt relieved and have to breathe for a while. The green, green grass of nature feels relaxing in the eyes and soul. This wide range of lots has different owners. As you can see, the road is said to be the boundary of both lots.

The one with arrows and flaglets will there be a soon-to-rise villa up to the end of jurisdiction. On the other side, used to be planted with sugarcane (same as the first one) but since they had low profit from it, they stopped planting.

All we can see is a healthy, green, and vigorous type of grass. It made the view scenic due to its greenery look.

This route right here reminds me of my childhood since the end portion here has spring or tubod in Bisaya. We used to fetch water, take a bath, and wash our laundry. During our time, there was no faucet or shower we only depend on a well or spring.

The narrow, and rocky road is where people from bungtod used to pass. There's another way also, but it's far from here. I don't exactly know if they recognized here how mesmerizing the view was and always is.

The fresh air we breathe is as clean as pure. I never get tired of seeing those beautiful creations of God. How is it possible? Though we came here sweaty and tired, all of those wiped as the view captivates our eyes and our hearts.

The graceful exit of the sun

Definitely, not a waste of time but instead a perfect way of wasting time with family and nature.

Thank you for reading Hivers! Have a blissful weekend!
