Natural disasters teaches us that this world is not the same way which God created it at the beginning, sin and other bad things have taken over the world. The Bible teaches that creation has been affected by sin and is waiting for God's complete restoration. Events such as earthquakes, floods, and storms show the weakness of human life and encourage us to seek God's protection, wisdom, and hope rather than placing our trust only in earthly things.
They also remind us to be compassionate toward those who suffer and to be spiritually prepared at all times. Instead of seeing every disaster as a direct punishment from God, Christians are encouraged to respond with faith, prayer, love, and practical help for those in need.
