God is not happy with the pain and suffering we are going through everyday, He wants the best and better life for us. Many of the bad things in the world are the result of human sin, poor choices, and the fallen condition of creation. Although God allows people to exercise free will, He remains loving, just, and compassionate, working even through difficult situations to accomplish His good purposes and to draw people closer to Him.
God promises to help and strengthen those who are suffering. Rather than causing evil for His own pleasure, He calls people to trust Him, do what is right, and remain faithful during trials.
James 1:13, "Let no one say when he is tempted, 'I am being tempted by God,' for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone."
