We don't sing the same song, yet none are off key, able to share a perch or morsel to eat depending on pecking order through the species.
Birds tend rely on each other, some sound the alarm when danger lurks close, hang out together when food is found, do certain species enjoy each others company, sharing life together?
Little is known of life as a bird, we see them together, but how much is truly understood, when resources are scarce or nesting, song may be warning, protecting territory, when plentiful come to ground using fail safe arriving in numbers.
Tall and short of it all is a mutual understanding, able to live in harmony across a variety of species.
A trade-off mingling together, being vigilant when eating sharing common space, an alarm call from one will send all in search of higher ground in the blink of an eye.
Even odd couples may share a perch on mutual understanding in the moment, a harmony between species in the lives of our feathered friends.
If birds can live in harmony, why can't we?
