Symbols of Life and Hope
Who keeps you company during lock down?
Helping balance mental attitude, positively assisting in companionship, in life mend gardens attracting them to you, time together. Another day another dawn no time for boredom, just keep chasing butterflies, dream of positive things to come.
In time we will remember this time spent together, though we cannot escape further than the garden (we do connect online). Reminder, we don't need to chase butterflies they will come to you!
Motivation, friendship, contact will help many through, some thought chasing butterflies was going after dreams just outside of our reach, look again everything is connected.
Wary of human contact, hugging is still available with four legged friends. Amidst whirling butterflies doing dizzy dances above our heads, gliding past your face reminders of freedoms social butterflies enjoy, futile planning of what might be, no one is sure, simply no answers yet.
Avoid being absorbed in negative emotions, logically some will succumb, many will continue striding into a future, new disciplines emerging due to this virus, fresh ideas in positive thinking are required moving forward.
Oh we will remember days under lock down!
Walking square circles keeping active while waiting, perhaps a vaccine is found to get people going. Restricted movement an additional two weeks was increased where we live, we have no idea what tomorrow might bring, so keep chasing butterflies.
Fluttering around aimlessly seeking solutions to answers, laying blame, not sure where. Watching in horror, hearing the confusion we need grounding, finding solace in what we do here and now.
Finding answers through butterflies, what they symbolize not just in their beauty.
The Christian culture views the butterfly as a symbol of resurrection. In Asian culture, the butterfly represents a long life and love. Fancy Shawl Dance (a dance of the butterflies), as exhibited in Native American cultures, symbolizes how a grieving heart can be transformed through a new beginning. The word for butterfly in Mandarin also means 70 years. Butterflies inspire life and hope, a circle of life in stages. Resourced from a variety of different cultures in symbolism.
Around the world butterflies represent endurance, change, hope and life, we all love seeing butterflies and nowhere does it mention doubt, more a circle of life.
For me life will change it is inevitable, resilience is a tool of human nature in our psychological locker, which is enhanced or weakened by experiences and circumstances, stay safe and keep chasing butterflies.....
Sunset taken last night, all photography taken in my garden over the last few days....
While writing this post reminded me of a song from way back when, here to share something light and moving encompassing the life we now share,
Heart - Dog and Butterfly [Source: YouTube]
Lyrics:
Dog And Butterfly
Heart
There I was with the old man
Stranded again so off I'd ran
A young world crashing around me
No possibilities of getting what I need
He looked at me and smiled
Said "No, no, no, no, no child
See the dog and butterfly
Up in the air he likes to fly."
Dog and butterfly
Below she had to try
She roll back down to the warm soft ground, laughing
She don't know why, she don't know why
Dog and butterfly
Well I stumbled upon your secret place
Safe in the trees you had tears on your face
Wrestling with your desires frozen strangers
Stealing your fires, the message hit my mind
Only words that I could find
See the dog and butterfly
Up in the air he like to fly
Dog and butterfly below she had to try
She roll back down to the warm soft ground
Laughing to the sky, up to....
