Bottoms up is not always about toasting someone informally before enjoying a drink, sometimes the best we can do with photography when birds are perched on high is capture those cute little bums.
Ducks butts are relatively regular when around a pond when snorkeling in search of food.
Perhaps a cute little bottom between the branches of trees.
Maybe height is the problem zooming in no matter you try, soft feathers under little tail end is winking at you.
Occasionally out of desperation the dive in is needed to collect seed or wash down feathers keeping clean.
Early morning or late afternoon top of trees waiting for the sun, sunshine time!
