When you see yourself giving in to the suggestion and opinions of the society and world at large about love after heartbreak and not having a mind and understanding of your own on the matter, you've got things all wrong.
If you know and believe that the one who created you, knew your name before you were born, knows the number of hairs on your head and lastly the one you pray to for help. If you know that He is love, then no matter the narrative of everyone else going through pain and discarding love, you'll stick to it.
Why?
This s because you love the way God loves.
You love without holding back.
You love because you have enough to give. (You can't give what you don't have)
You love because it always feels right to do so and it makes you happy.
You love because there's peace and healing in it.
We all get hurt sometimes.
Your pain is valid, very valid.
But you don't deserve to stay there for long. You deserve to be happy, to smile, to be joyful and thankful.
The psalmist said "The joy of the Lord is my strength"
With love comes joy, and with joy comes strength to love more.
