Everyone's journey is different in life.
You probably have to walk on this dark path alone to be able to discover yourself and what you're supposed to do, how you're supposed to control yourself and how you're supposed to will and use your power.
The friends that care and stick around are good and you should appreciate them.
The ones that feel hurt that you want to do this on your own which is for your own good are also good in their own way, but not good for you.
