We got quite a bit of snow last week. It was really only one night where all the snow has fallen and covered all the beautiful Spring flowers, but thankfully it started to melt right away, but because how much snow has fallen, it still took 3-4 days to melt and even more in the shady areas.
It's so funny....well, not really funny, but one day I saw all the snow gone and the green grass in the backyard, where I really realized how beautiful the grass and the green backyard looked.
Meanwhile, we/I had this pretty much all this time during Winter time, but I didn't really realize how beautiful it looked and how lucky I was to enjoy this green nature, until it was gone and covered with the snow. And I couldn't go for walks because it was too much snow and slippery and then all mushy and slushy.
I was scared that the blooming flowers would be dead after being covered with the heavy snow for 3 days, but they survived.
So now I really appreciate all the snow gone and the beauty of the green, Spring nature.
And look what I found. So beautiful and it really feels like Winter is over.
Now, I am enjoying my daily walks again, really enjoying the beauty of nature and can't wait for the days to get longer so that I can spend much more time in nature, instead of just 25 minutes during my lunch break.
