They tell of wise men of understanding, like those descended from old druids who managed to escape from the dungeons of ignorance and travel far on the backs of sacred trees.

They tell these wise men, they tell it little by little like good sages, that if it is true that the sun is the life of the world; that it radiates whispers of warmth to blush the earth and make it bloom.

It is also true that the moon is its soul. The lady who adorns the night is the intimate reflection of the crystalline secrets of the horizon; with her the essences spend the night and the most daring also say that it is she who feeds the orange blossoms with fragrances and the springs with purity.

In conversations with the flames amidst crackles and murmurs the sages speak of a pact made of stardust gathered in the moon's garment, a pact of beginnings and endings, one that takes a lifetime to honor or deserve.

It is the pact of the souls that love each other and that by chance and misunderstandings in the distance claim each other. There in the face of the moon they look at each other, they recognize and miss each other; since then the moon is the watering place where the souls that seek and find each other drink.
