Hello hive world! Hello folks!
I survived my first week in online class and I was planning to write about it but last night I found myself drawing this illustration. I think this has been my fourth digital art portrait. I tried to really give it a dark theme and I hope it captures your attention and made you question, what's going on with the character and why is she in the dark?
Everytime I draw I always try to limit my palette like the colors that I used to save some paints and when I tried digital art I still did it even though I have a limitless pigments. I actually envy those people who draw seamlessly and cleanly because I am a total opposite of it. I jumped from hair to face to nose, depending on my interests without completely finishing it.
Digital art has been my outlet to relax from my academic works, household chores and endless thoughts. It has been my refuge, sometimes my stressor but most of the times my refuge. My love for digital art increases day by day and I want to improve everytime I draw in general.
I tried my very best to finish this as fast as I can. This digital drawing was a hard work and I spent around 3 hours of doing it. I thought that I could do it even faster since there aren't much of details but I was wrong I was really struggling about its shadow and highlights. I picture it out to look even more beautiful but I was so lazy to retouch or somewhat redo some parts of it.
So, I hope you love and enjoyed it.
