Last July, I was in Niagra Falls on the Canadian side of the border. I took my granddaughter and my oldest son with me and we got to see some beautiful sights. I was looking through my pictures because I keep getting emails from various companies showing views of different cities. The purpose is to get you to take a virtual trip to another city until you can physically go there again.
Well, I have my own photographs of wonderful places that I have had the priviledge of visiting before the global pandemic. I won't be getting on another airplane this summer. If I go somewhere this summer, my current plan is to drive. I had been thinking that I would fly again, but after hearing about an epidemiologist who contracted the virus on an airplane even after he thought that he had taken proper precautions, I decided against airplane travel for a while.
That is really unfortunate, because I prefer flying over driving any day. I want to get to my destination as soon as possible and driving limits my choices of places to go. On the other hand, I wouldn't have to worry about contagious passengers in my car.
I am grateful that I have traveled around the world many times so I will just have to look at my pictures to remember the good times. This too shall pass.
Enjoy your day.
