Yesterday was a great day for flowers, but for the challenge of ¨FungiFriday¨ (Es-Eng)

Ayer fue un día muy estresante para mí, finalmente tuve la ¨intervención¨¨medica¨ que he estado esperando; mi día comenzó de madrugada, debí presentarme al nosocomio para la preparación de la intervención, una vez registrado me asignaron una sala donde colocaron un canal con ¨suero¨. Una vez listo me trasladaron al ¨quirófano¨ para que la ¨anestesista¨ hiciera su trabajo. Realmente no sé cuánto duro la intervención, ya que al darme cuenta el profesional me informo que el estudio había culminado y que tomaron una muestra para una ¨Biopsia¨ que debía esperar por los resultados unos treinta días. Fue todo tan rápido que para antes del mediodía ya estaba en casa, eso me dio la oportunidad de visitar el predio que está cerca de casa para que la somnolencia de la anestesia pasara totalmente. Aprovechamos para hacer algunas tomas fotografías de unas hermosas flores, y buscamos sin mucha suerte hongos para este concurso

Yesterday was a very stressful day for me, I finally had the "medical intervention" that I have been waiting for; My day began at dawn, I had to go to the hospital to prepare for the intervention. Once registered, they assigned me a room where they placed a channel with "serum". Once ready, they transferred me to the "operating room" so that the "anesthetist" could do her job. I really don't know how long the intervention lasted, since when I realized the professional informed me that the study had finished and that they took a sample for a "Biopsy" that I had to wait about thirty days for the results. Everything happened so quickly that I was home before noon, which gave me the opportunity to visit the property that is close to home so that the drowsiness from the anesthesia would completely pass. We took the opportunity to take some photographs of some beautiful flowers, and we searched without much luck for mushrooms for this contest

Si bien ayer fue un gran día para las flores, no lo fue para los hongos, ya que dimos con algunos que se estaban descomponiendo y otros muy deteriorados. Es evidente que las constantes lluvias que hemos tenido estos días aumentaron mucho la humedad del suelo y es lo que provoco el deterioro de estos hongos. No obstantes, aun así, se veían muy interesante para hacer unas tomas fotografías de ellos

Si hubiera sido por mi esposa que me ha acompañado hubiera desistido la búsqueda, pero como esta en mi naturaleza no rendirme, seguimos unos metros más hasta dar con unos hongos que estaban en mejor condición, y así saber que se trataban de una variedad de hongos conocido científicamente como ¨Neolentinus¨ ¨lepideus¨:  este tipo de hongos se ha visto en esta zona del mundo con muchas frecuencia, a diferencia del año pasado que solo lo hemos visto en un para de ocasiones, crecen a partir de ramas o troncos de árboles que se están descomponiendo.

If it had been for my wife who has accompanied me, I would have given up the search, but since it is in my nature not to give up, we continued a few more meters until we found some mushrooms that were in better condition, and thus knowing that they were a variety of fungi known scientifically as ¨Neolentinus¨ ¨lepideus¨:  this type of fungus has been seen in this area of the world very frequently, unlike last year when we have only seen it on a couple of occasions, they grow from branches or trunks of trees that are decomposing.

Cuando estos hongos están en buen estado invitan a que los llevemos a la cocina para preparar una exquisita receta con ellos, pero en esta condición no creo que alguien tenga intenciones de hacerlo. Es verdad que les he dicho que seguramente se habían descompuesto por las copiosas lluvias y la abundancia humedad del terreno, pero al ver estos, estoy dudando si no fue por algún producto químico, como pueden ver hay un polvo blanco junto a ellos, quizás los cuidadores del predio han rociado algún producto para exterminar los hongos. When these mushrooms are in good condition they invite us to take them to the kitchen to prepare an exquisite recipe with them, but in this condition I don't think anyone has the intention of doing so. It is true that I have told you that they had surely decomposed due to the copious rains and the abundant humidity of the land, but when I see these, I am doubting if it was not due to some chemical product, as you can see there is a white powder next to them, perhaps the property caretakers have sprayed some product to exterminate fungi.
