When people feel relaxed… (My entry for the “monomad” challenge) [Esp/Eng].

Tengo que decir que me encanta estar en esta genial¨Black-And-White¨: participando de esta maravillosa iniciativa #monomad. Mi padre me obsequió una cámara cuando era un niño, y en ese entonces me encantaba ver desde lejos a las personas y hacerles una fotografía; total, si era descubierto, ¿quién se iba a enojar con un niño que está haciendo fotografías? Además, por lo que recuerdo, en aquella época a nadie le importaba si otra persona hacía una toma fotográfica.

I have to say I love being part of this great "Black-And-White": initiative, #monomad. My father gave me a camera when I was a child, and back then I loved watching people from afar and taking their picture; after all, if I was caught, who was going to get mad at a kid taking pictures? Besides, as far as I remember, back then nobody cared if someone else was taking a picture.

Mis momentos fotográficos con el paso del tiempo han ido disminuyendo; en realidad, lo que sucedía era que tenía otras responsabilidades y casi no tenía tiempo para salir a caminar por el barrio para hacer fotografías. Una vez que concluí mis estudios, recuperé la falta de tiempo y regresé con mi afición por fotografiar a las personas, pero como ya era adolescente, tenía que tener un poco más de cuidado cuando las fotografiaba.

My photography time has decreased over time; in reality, what was happening was that I had other responsibilities and hardly any time to go for walks around the neighborhood to take pictures. Once I finished my studies, I regained my lack of time and returned to my hobby of photographing people, but since I was now a teenager, I had to be a little more careful when photographing them.

Otra época donde cambié mis gustos por las fotografías fue cuando nacieron mis hijos. En esa época, mis fotografías se centraban en mis seres queridos, pero, como saben, los años pasan muy rápido y, al darme cuenta, me encontré con mis hijos adolescentes y ya no querían participar en nuestros paseos en familia y, en consecuencia, tuve que cambiar mis objetivos de tomas.

Another time when my tastes in photography changed was when my children were born. At that time, my photographs focused on my loved ones, but, as you know, the years go by very quickly, and before I knew it, my children were teenagers and no longer wanted to participate in our family outings. Consequently, I had to change my focus when taking photos.

Caminando por el microcentro, comencé a notar a las personas sentirse relajadas, y creo que tiene que ver con el uso del ¨teléfono¨ ¨móvil¨. Ver las expresiones en sus rostros me hizo recordar cuando me encantaba hacer tomas de las personas, y me pareció genial incorporar estos objetivos para participar de este maravilloso¨concurso¨: 

Walking through the city center, I began to notice people seemed relaxed, and I think it has to do with the use of mobile phones. Seeing the expressions on their faces reminded me of when I loved taking pictures of people, and I thought it would be great to incorporate these lenses to participate in this wonderful contest. contest
