We received a visit from the *Molothrus bonariensis* (Shiny Cowbird) [Esp/Eng].

Como están, mis amigos seguidores de esta maravillosa ¨Feathered FriendsCommunity¨:  Que gran placer poder compartir este precioso avistamiento que hemos hecho para participar de este genial ¨Show-Me-A-Photo-Contest¨:  que me encanta y me da la oportunidad de conocer otras especies de aves diferentes a las que hay en esta zona del mundo.

How are you doing, friends and followers of this wonderful ¨Feathered Friends Community¨:  It is a great pleasure to share this lovely sighting, captured for participation in this fantastic ¨Show-Me-A-Photo-Contest¨:  I love it, as it gives me the chance to discover bird species different from those found in this part of the world.

Finalmente, la primavera se ha instalado en la ciudad; más allá de que el clima ha cambiado mucho, la temperatura está muy agradable. Esto hace que las aves estén comenzando a ver más allá de su entorno para dar con la que será su compañera de apareamiento de esta temporada. Estas ¨especies¨ : de aves actúan de manera diferente y poco a poco se las comienza a ver en parejas.

Spring has finally settled into the city; beyond the significant change in weather, the temperature is very pleasant. This prompts the birds to look beyond their immediate surroundings to find a mate for the season. These ¨species¨ :  of birds behave differently, and little by little, they begin to appear in pairs.

Hace algunos días estábamos con mi esposa sentados en el jardín de casa, y entre diálogo mencionaba que un ave que no se veía eran estos ¨ejemplares¨: estas eran una de esas especies que veíamos a diario, pero desde hace algún tiempo no lo hemos estado viendo. Esta charla es como si bastara para que estas aves vuelvan a visitarnos, ya que, al estar sentado en el fondo, lo volvimos a ver.

A few days ago, my wife and I were sitting in our garden, and during our conversation, I mentioned that we hadn't seen these birds lately; they used to be a species we saw every day, but for some time now, they had been absent. It was as if simply talking about them was enough to bring them back for a visit, because while sitting in the back of the garden, we saw one again.

De las tres especies que en esta oportunidad les estoy enseñando, estas ¨aves:  son las que nos han visitado con regularidad y frecuencia; incluso han tomado bastante confianza hacia nosotros, que se animan a balar a las hierbas del jardín para buscar parte de su alimentación.

Of the three species I am showing you this time, these "birds":  are the ones that have visited us regularly and frequently; they have even become quite comfortable around us, venturing into the garden grass to forage for some of their food.

Tengo que admitir que, a medida que pasa el tiempo, cada vez me gusta más hacer este tipo de avistamiento. Las aves que visitan nuestro pardo son realmente preciosas, lo que hace que valga la pena que tome nuestra ¨camara¨ : para fotografía a cada una de estas hermosuras que nos visitan en el jardín.

I have to admit that, as time goes by, I enjoy this kind of birdwatching more and more. The birds that visit our yard are truly beautiful, making it well worth grabbing our camera to photograph each of these lovely visitors to the garden.
