La verdad, no quiero sonar presumido al decir que vivo en una encantadora ¨ciudad¨: dueña de una belleza natural; al caminar por nuestras calles es como hacerlo en una inmensa selva donde conviven armoniosamente lo natural con la mampostería que ornamenta las fachadas de los edificios.
Honestly, I don't want to sound boastful when I say that I live in a charming city —one that possesses natural beauty; Walking through our streets is like walking through a vast jungle where the natural world coexists harmoniously with the masonry adorning the building facades.

Tengo que admitir que hace algunos años este ¨barrio¨: lo visitábamos con mucha frecuencia, pero por una cuestión de no cansarlos con nuestras fotografías dejamos de frecuentarlo; recientemente, y a raíz del cambio de itinerario del autobús que abordamos desde casa, hemos regresado a esta zona de la ciudad para hacer nuestras hermosas caminatas de los días miércoles.
I have to admit that a few years ago we used to visit this "neighborhood" very frequently, but we stopped going there so often simply to avoid boring you with our photographs; Recently, following a change in the route of the bus we take from home, we have returned to this area of the city for our lovely Wednesday walks.

La verdad es que a toda la familia le encanta este ¨paseo¨: por eso nadie tuvo alguna objeción cuando decidí cambiar nuestros planes de caminata y descender del autobús para caminar en este precioso rincón que tiene el microcentro. Cuando caminamos por aquí, me es imposible no pensar en cómo fue este lugar en el pasado; a veces me cuesta creer que era un bosque de ¨guayaba¨: y ahora convertido en uno de los rincones más preciosos y visitados de nuestra ciudad.
The truth is, the whole family loves this walk; that’s why no one objected when I decided to change our walking plans and get off the bus to stroll through this beautiful spot in the city center. When we walk here, I can't help but think about what this place was like in the past; sometimes I find it hard to believe that it used to be a guava grove—and has now been transformed into one of the most beautiful and visited spots in our city.

Esta ha sido otra preciosa caminata que hicimos esta semana; en las calles del microcentro ya se puede apreciar la belleza de la llegada de la primavera. Los árboles de ¨lapacho¨: poco a poco se llenan de flores preciosas, haciendo que nuestras calles luzcan realmente muy bellas.
This was another lovely walk we took this week; the beauty of spring's arrival is already visible on the streets of the city center. The lapacho trees are gradually filling with beautiful blossoms, making our streets look truly stunning.
