The species we found on the property have been fantastic [Esp/Eng].

Qué genial que llegara el viernes, día en que visito esta genial¨Community¨:  . Para acompañar a nuestra amiga @ewkaw en su invitación semanal a que participemos de este maravilloso ¨Concurso¨:   Esta semana ha sido genial los hallazgos que hemos tenido; dimos con tres ejemplares muy interesantes.

It’s great that Friday has arrived—the day I visit this wonderful community. I’m joining our friend @ewkaw in her weekly invitation to participate in this fantastic contest. We’ve had some amazing finds this week; we came across three very interesting specimens.

Generalmente, cuando estamos tras estas maravillas de la naturaleza, nos movilizamos por los diferentes senderos que están en medio de los bosques; ellos siempre nos llevan a lugares donde acostumbran a desarrollarse los hongos. Esta búsqueda ha sido un poco diferente, dado que nos internamos en el bosque, y ha sido cuando dimos con este maravilloso ¨genero¨:  que casualmente estamos acostumbrados a dar con ellos.

Generally, when we go looking for these wonders of nature, we follow various trails through the woods; they almost always lead us to places where mushrooms tend to grow. This search was a bit different, as we ventured deeper into the forest—and that’s when we stumbled upon this wonderful genus, which, as it happens, we are quite accustomed to encountering.

La verdad, no sé por qué razón no entramos al bosque más seguido al momento de buscar "hongos" para fotografiar, porque las veces que probamos buscar allí, damos con ¨especies¨:  preciosas que causan satisfacción al encontrarlos y compartir con los apasionados de estas bellezas. Este tipo no es de esos que vemos con frecuencia; estos son de aquellos que aparecen por temporadas, y las veces que los encontramos disfrutamos de verlos.

Honestly, I’m not sure why we don’t head into the forest more often when looking for "mushrooms" to photograph; every time we’ve tried searching there, we’ve come across beautiful "species" —finding them is truly rewarding, and it’s a joy to share them with others who are passionate about these wonders. This particular type isn't one we see very often; These are ones that appear seasonally, and the times we find them we enjoy seeing them.

Ha sido un acierto entrar al bosque; las especies que encontramos en el interior son diferentes a lo que acostumbramos hallar. Una vez que tuvimos la oportunidad de fotografiar a estos preciosos "hongos", fue el momento de regresar al sendero, y así fue como dimos con este bello ¨ejemplar¨: Lo que llamó mi atención, e hizo que me acercara al tronco, no han sido ellos; mi atracción fue por las coloridas orejas, y gracias al acercamiento es que encontramos esta genial especie.

It was a success to enter the forest; The species we find inside are different from what we usually find. Once we had the chance to photograph these lovely "fungi," it was time to head back to the trail—and that’s how we came across this beautiful "specimen". It wasn't the fungi themselves that caught my eye and drew me toward the trunk; rather, I was intrigued by the colorful, ear-like structures—and it was this closer look that led us to discover such a fascinating species.

Por estas cosas hermosas que nos suceden al visitar la reserva es que nos encanta visitar con nuestra¨camara¨ :  siempre vamos con ella porque sabemos que allí hay cosas muy bellas para hacer fotografías.

It is because of these beautiful things that we encounter when visiting the reserve that we love to bring our camera along; we always take it with us because we know there are such lovely things there to photograph.
