The approach of spring has the birds all stirred up [Esp/Eng].

Qué feliz estar nuevamente con mis amigos de esta genial ¨Feathered FriendsCommunity¨:  para acompañar a nuestra amiga @nelinoeva en su hermoso ¨Show-Me-A-Photo-Contest¨:  Si bien es verdad que desde que tengo memoria me gustan las aves, desde que descubrí esta comunidad me interesé aún más en ellas.

I am so happy to be back with my friends from this wonderful "Feathered Friends Community" to join our friend @nelinoeva in her beautiful "Show-Me-A-Photo-Contest" . While it is true that I have loved birds for as long as I can remember, I became even more interested in them after discovering this community.

Todo ha cambiado desde entonces; si bien sigo disfrutando de la presencia de las aves, ahora las veo con más detenimiento y quiero saber todo sobre el ave que se posa frente a mí. Esta es una ¨especie¨ : de ave que nos visita bastante seguido, y desde entonces hemos aprendido mucho sobre su comportamiento. Cada año, al aproximarse la primavera, son los primeros ejemplares que comienzan su tradicional canto llamando a su compañera para anidar la temporada; su canto es fuerte y melodioso.

Everything has changed since then; although I still enjoy the presence of birds, I now observe them more closely and want to know everything about the bird perched in front of me. This is a "species" of bird that visits us quite often, and we have learned a lot about its behavior over time. Every year, as spring approaches, they are the first ones to begin their traditional song, calling out to a mate for the nesting season;

Este ¨ejemplar¨: es de ese tipo de aves que han sido las últimas en conocer nuestro fondo, y por su apariencia al principio la confundía con los tradicionales ¨gorriones¨, hasta que pude comenzar a ver las diferencias entre ambas especies. Lo que me gusta de ellos es el copete de su cabeza, la combinación de colores y el patrón de sus plumas.

This specimen  belongs to the group of birds that were the last to be discovered in our backyard; due to its appearance, I initially mistook it for the common "sparrow," until I began to notice the differences between the two species. What I like about them is the crest on their head, the color combination, and their feather pattern.

Estos han sido una de las ¨especies: de aves que fueron los primeros que se animaron a visitarnos; ellos tienen una personalidad fuerte y son bastante curiosos, y es lo que los llevó a visitarnos para investigar qué hacíamos todas las tardes en nuestro terreno. En aquella época, en el patio trasero teníamos una gran huerta, y como es una actividad que lleva mucho tiempo, pasábamos gran parte de la mañana y la tarde en el huerto.

This was one of the bird species  that were the first to venture over to visit us; they have strong personalities and are quite curious, which is what led them to come and investigate what we were doing on our land every afternoon. Back then, we had a large vegetable garden in the backyard, and since it is a time-consuming activity, we would spend much of the morning and afternoon tending to it.

Qué genial contar con nuestra ¨camara¨ : estoy muy feliz con los resultados y con las tomas que podemos hacer a las aves que nos visitan y posan en lo alto de las ramas de los árboles. Esta ha sido otra maravillosa semana fotografiando diferentes especies de aves.

It’s great to have our camera: I am very happy with the results and the shots we can get of the birds that visit us and perch high up on the tree branches. This has been another wonderful week photographing different species of birds.
