How wonderful that the day finally arrived to visit ¨Feathered FriendsCommunity¨: and participate in this much-anticipated ¨Show-Me-A-Photo-Contest¨: . This is one of those things I'm always careful not to miss the day to post, since doing so requires dedicating time to birdwatching, an activity I'm passionate about.

Lo que me gusta de esta actividad, y hace que por las tardes me tome el tiempo de ver a las aves, es ver lo sencillo que es su forma de vivir; me encanta la tranquilidad y la sencillez del hábitat de las aves. Esta debe ser la ¨especie¨ : que se lo considera más sencillo; sin embargo, esa simplicidad que lo caracteriza es lo que hace que luzca preciosa.
What I love about this activity, and what makes me take the time to watch the birds in the afternoons, is seeing how simple their way of life is; I love the tranquility and simplicity of the birds' habitat. This must be the "species" : considered the simplest; however, that simplicity that characterizes it is what makes it look beautiful.
Este otro ¨ejemplar¨: es de esas aves que no se las ve tan seguido, y por ende no se las considera como un ave sencilla o simple. Aunque si lo comparamos con el patrón de plumas de la especie anterior, vemos que el ave que se lo considera simple tiene una combinación y un patrón de colores de sus plumas realmente hermosos.
This other "specimen": is one of those birds that isn't seen very often, and therefore isn't considered a simple or ordinary bird. However, if we compare it with the feather pattern of the previous species, we see that the bird considered to be simple has a truly beautiful combination and pattern of colors in its feathers.
Algo similar sucede con esta simple ¨paloma¨: que, dicho sea de paso, no tiene nada de simplicidad, desde el momento en que no tiene nada que ver con las convencionales palomas que acostumbramos a ver en las plazas. Esta especie de ave tiene el color y las formas de sus plumas realmente preciosas.
Something similar happens with this simple "dove": which, incidentally, is anything but simple, since it doesn't have nothing like the conventional pigeons we usually see in the squares. This bird species has truly beautiful feather colors and patterns.
Estas son de esas especies que nos demuestran que la sencillez nada tiene que ver con la belleza, porque podemos estar frente a un ave realmente muy conocida, y tener colores y formas de plumas exóticas. These are some of those species that show us that simplicity has nothing to do with beauty, because we can be looking at a very well-known bird, and it can have exotic colors and feather shapes. How great that we were prepared with our camera to photograph these beautiful bird species.
