Soy de esas personas que a la hora de hacer una fotografía a mis seres queridos piensa en un ¨Ensayo¨-¨fotográfico¨: Porque me gusta documentar esos bellos momentos que disfruto con las personas que amo.

Hello to all the passionate friends of this amazing "Black-And-White":Happy to be here to join this great #monomad initiative. I'm one of those people who, when taking a picture of my loved ones, thinks of a "Photographic Essay":Because I like to document those beautiful moments I enjoy with the people I love.

Pienso que la vida es más corta de lo que uno piensa, y como nadie tiene la vida comprada, debemos tener presente que el tiempo pasa más rápido de lo que suponemos; en tan solo un abrir y cerrar de ojos nuestros niños se convierten en adultos. Por eso amo pasar tiempo con las personas que quiero, y trato de documentar esos bellos momentos, porque, pasados los años, las fotografías tienen la capacidad de trasladar tu mente al preciso instante en que has hecho los disparos.

I think life is shorter than we think, and since no one has a guarantee on life, we must remember that time passes faster than we imagine; in the blink of an eye, our children become adults. That's why I love spending time with the people I love, and I try to document those beautiful moments, because, years later, photographs have the power to transport your mind back to the exact moment you took the pictures.

Hace algunas semanas fui parte de un espléndido momento fotográfico, al disfrutar en compañía de mis seres queridos en una de las playas más bonitas que tiene la ciudad. Mientras estaba haciendo las tomas, vinieron a mi memoria algunos momentos que había vivido con mis hijos en esta misma playa cuando eran pequeños; hoy la vida me está dando la oportunidad de estar nuevamente frente a estos pequeños, aunque ya no son mis hijos, ahora estoy frente a sus hijos.

A few weeks ago, I was part of a splendid photographic moment, enjoying the company of my loved ones on one of the most beautiful beaches in the city. While I was taking the pictures, some moments I had experienced with my children on this same beach when they were little came to mind; today, life is giving me the opportunity to be with these children again, although they are no longer my children, now I am with their children.

Quizás la vida me vuelva a sorprender haciendo fotografías de otros pequeños, aunque en esa ocasión podrán ser los hijos de mis nietos, y todos esos bellos momentos tendrán algo en común: que lo estoy documentando a través de tomas fotográficas. De eso se trata al tomar una foto, capturar esos momentos, para que, al volverlas a ver, regresen a ti esos momentos felices.

Perhaps life will surprise me again by taking photographs of other little ones, although this time they may be my grandchildren's children, and all those beautiful moments will have something in common: that I am documenting them through photographs. That's what taking a photo is all about, capturing those moments so that, when you look at them again, those happy moments return to you.
