Well my Food Flinging Peeps the time has come to start making some delicious treats with our Blackberries. So far this year our single Marion Blackberry bush has produced over 3 - 1 Gallon ZIP- Loc Bags and there is a lot more to come. I just pick ‘em and lay them on a cookie sheet and freeze them. That keeps them from getting smashed and squished.
A few days ago I showed you all the Ball Ice Cream Maker Deleo here and we made some Strawberry Ice Cream. I feel that sometimes me writing about it doesn’t do it justice. So between outage calls the kids and I got busy making a batch of Homemade Blackberry Ice Cream made. For some reason they like getting involved when there is a tasty treat at the end. Hmmm weird.
Check out the video and see the creative way my daughter found to keep the Ice Cream Ball movin’. I love when they think outside the box, but watch your toes that Ice Cream Maker Ball is hard and pretty heavy when it is loaded.
