A lot of foggy streets, a practically silent dawn, a town that seemed paralyzed, everyone asleep at my house except me, a hot coffee and a piece of bread for breakfast... And then I grabbed my old camera and went to explore some of the nearby streets in my neighborhood. And there, as always, things were happening; the kind of things that go unnoticed by almost everyone here, but which I consider events worthy of capturing in a few photos... That's how I started walking through the fog along the impoverished streets and saw a dog watching me, lying on the sidewalk near a small house recently painted a striking blue, and this was my first sequence...

And then, as is almost always the case in this town where stray cats are commonplace, one of them, orange and seemingly quite young, appeared swiftly, leaping towards a window through whose bars it entered a house, not without first pausing to look at me and greet me with a long meow, which sounded more like a welcome... Surely this friendly fellow was arriving home after a long night of reveling with other neighborhood cats... Be that as it may, this was my second encounter...

And finally, a simple street with things happening there... A few cars parked in the fog, a young woman leaving her house on her motorcycle, presumably going to work, a dog lying in the middle of the street and another watching from the sidewalk, a couple arriving at a house on another motorcycle... They are simple things, but I find a certain charm in observing and recording this everyday life with my camera... So this was the last sequence in this series...
