I was chatting with his owner on the street, right in front of his front door. When, suddenly, I turned my head and saw this adorable little dog peeking through the gap in the doorway. So, I stopped paying attention to my friend and started taking pictures... Then, my friend, the dog's owner, told me he had rescued him from a street in Valencia (the capital of our state, about 50 km from the town) when he was negotiating prices for merchandise at a wholesale market. According to my friend, the puppy was crying helplessly, lying in a sewage canal, and no one seemed to care much. So he took it and wrapped it in some dirty rags he had in his truck, and also put it in the back box and gave it some of his lunch... The little dog ate with great enthusiasm, which is why my friend was moved and brought it home... A cute story with a bit of a funny ending, because my friend thought it would be a small animal, but it already weighs 40 Kgrs and is about 60 cms tall at the shoulders... A huge dog for a mixed breed I think!... But it is a "good soul" as my friend says!...
