On #Hive I always make my posts in English and my native Spanish lang, and I answer comments in Spanish if it's made in that language, or in English if it's in English or any other. So far, it's worked well for me this way... I think that these days, with so many online translation tools, even for those less proficient in English, it's easy to use it for everything related to interacting with others online...
