This town of mine, where I have always lived, continues to be a wonderful mix of scenes... Here the urban and the rural mix imperceptibly sometimes and other times suddenly and even brutally... It is a town confused between times, a town that began to evolve from a handful of houses with plots limited by palisades, to a place with newer houses and an economic and social strength that, in a flash, was interrupted to stop it in a time that is neither one nor the other thing... I mean that sometimes it seems like a town with paved streets and, just by turning your gaze, it transforms into an old field full of bucolic memories stuck in the surrounding corners... The same thing happens inside the houses, the same thing happens with dogs and cats, the same thing happens with plants, with people and with everything that dares to be in this ambiguous and simple place in a unison... And in the middle of all this, I am trying to observe and understand... And I often feel sad, and then lucky, and other times equanimous... It doesn't matter, or "that's good", but whatever, here are my photos of me for you, from this exquisitely confusing and visually endearing Montalbán...

Este pueblo mío, en donde siempre he vivido, continua siendo una mezcolanza maravillosa de escenas... Aquí se mezclan lo urbano y lo rural de forma imperceptible algunas veces y otras veces de forma repentina y hasta brutal... Es un pueblo confundido entre los tiempos, un pueblo que comenzó a evolucionar desde un puñado de casas con solares limitados por empalizadas, a un lugar con casas más nuevas y una pujanza económica y social que, de un centellazo, fue interrumpida para detenerlo en un tiempo que no es ni una ni otra cosa... Me refiero a que a veces parece un pueblo de calles asfaltadas y, apenas al voltear la mirada, se transforma en un campo viejo y repleto de memoria s bucólicas pegadas en las esquinas aledañas... Lo mismo sucede en las casas por dentro, lo mismo sucede con los perros y los gatos, lo mismo sucede con las plantas, con la gente y con toda cosa que se atreva a estar en este lugar ambiguo y simple de manera unísona... Y en medio de todo esto, estoy yo procurando observar y entender... Y con frecuencia me siento triste, y después afortunado, y otras veces ecuánime... No importa, o "que bien", pero sea como sea, aquí están mis fotos de mi para ustedes, desde este Montalbán exquisitamente confuso y visualmente entrañable...
