These are recent pictures, I think they are all from this same week... We have had sunny mornings, apparently the foggy days are happening less now, as we are in the dry season and that lowers the humidity level in the valley where the village is located. So this means that the streets are generously lit from the early hours of the day. So these pictures are full of contrast between light and shadow, which makes them more complex to take, but no less eloquent due that...

I love cats, I love to see my streets full of cats. Since a few years ago, the population of domestic cats has increased tremendously in our town. This is something I can confirm as soon as I look around and walk a bit in the streets. They appear everywhere, especially on the doorsteps of houses... I like the looks of the cats, they seem to be "thinking" things like: Why is this guy taking pictures of me?. :))

This week was all about fun, fresh and carefree street photography... They have helped me to relax while strolling through the streets, they have also helped me to see a bit more of the details that I sometimes overlook. Also (and as you can see) I had fun photographing cats (and some dogs whose photos I plan to share later) while I talk to them and they stare at me (as do the people around me, by the way).
